Date: Friday, March 27, 2009 - Saturday, March 28, 2009 Email: Dbecker@Lakelandcc.edu Location: Athletic & Fitness Center Description: 7th Annual Military / Police Patch Collectors Show Presented by the Lakeland Community College Police Department SHOW DATES AND TIMES: Friday, March 27th, 2009 5:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday, March 28th, 2009 9:00am to 3:00pm Proceeds from show will benefit Lakeland College Scholarships All military relics welcome-American-foreign-modern-ancient-uniforms-edged weapons-medals & decoration-helmets-documents-books-military aviation art-signed prints-WWII memorabilia & 1000's of related items COLLECTIBLE FIREARMS WILL BE ALLOWED - NO OTHER FIREARMS - NO EXCEPTIONS Firearms must meet the following conditions as defined by federal law 1. Must have been produced 50 years ago or more. 2. Must have been produced for the military and during a wartime period. Wartime periods include 1914 – 1918, 1939 – 1945 and 1950 – 1953. Firearms prior to 1914 will be considered. 3. All weapons at the show must be made safe (magazine out, bolt the rear), inspected (by police officer) and fitted with plastic tie.
